See You In
Our Story
"Some love stories are written in the stars. Ours was written somewhere between a park in Bangkok, weekend flights across borders, and the mountains of Chiang Mai — the place that brought us together, and the place where we'll say forever."

Read StoryThe Question
On a Valentine's Day trip back to the place that started it all, Carlo proposed in the mountains of Chiang Mai. It felt right that it happened here — the city where we first connected, Jai Jai's favourite place in Thailand, and now ours together. It's only fitting that we marry here too. Without a moment's hesitation, Jai Jai said yes — and the next chapter began.
Our Film
No formal dress code, no script — wear whatever makes you feel most like yourself. A few gentle nudges below, mostly so the day takes good care of you.
February in Chiang Mai is warm and dry. Linen, cotton, silk, light chiffon — anything that lets the breeze through will love you back.
The ceremony is on a garden lawn at Bloomemories. Wedge heels, block heels, or flats will save your evening — stilettos and grass don't get along.
Warm tones, earthy hues, soft pastels — anything that suits the golden-hour light. We're keeping black and white for ourselves.
Beyond that — naturally you. If you feel beautiful in it, so will we.
The Venue
Nestled in the hills just outside Chiang Mai, Bloomemories is a garden estate where the mountains meet the sky. Open-air pavilions, lush tropical grounds, and golden-hour light that feels like it was made for a wedding.
Amphoe Hang Dong, 20 min south of Chiang Mai Old City
Open-air garden pavilions surrounded by tropical greenery and mountain views
The Chiang Mai sunset paints the mountains in gold — the perfect backdrop for our vows
We fell in love with this place the moment we walked in — and we know you will too

Our wedding is the perfect excuse for a Thai adventure. Arrive a few days early or stay a little longer — there's so much to see and do in the north. Here are some of our favourites.
We'll share a more detailed guide with restaurant picks and hidden gems closer to the date.
Whether you fly from Manchester or Heathrow, we'd encourage you to stop in Bangkok for a night or two on the way. February is peak dry season in northern Thailand — book flights at least six months ahead for the best fares.
or fly from London Heathrow (LHR) — ~11h 25m direct to Bangkok, often cheaper fares
or fly from London Heathrow (LHR) — ~11h 25m direct to Bangkok, often cheaper fares
The closest airport to Sheffield. No direct flights, but Qatar Airways via Doha and Etihad via Abu Dhabi both fly daily from Manchester with excellent connections. Total journey ~13–15 hours with layover. Often great fares, and no need to get down to London first.
Direct flights in ~11h 25min — Thai Airways and Eva Air both fly this route. Qatar and Etihad via their hubs often offer the most competitive fares. Heathrow is typically cheaper than flying from Manchester, so worth comparing both.
~1h 15min — Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, AirAsia and Nok Air all run multiple daily departures. Flights are frequent and inexpensive — perfect for flexing your schedule around a Bangkok stopover.
Since you're flying through Bangkok anyway, why not make the most of it? A night or two in the city is a great way to break the journey, shake off jet lag, and ease into the trip before heading north. Explore the temples, eat everything in sight, wander through a night market, or just sink into a rooftop pool as the skyline lights up. Bangkok rewards spontaneity — and you'll arrive in Chiang Mai refreshed and ready to celebrate with us.
Some of you might want your Thailand holiday before the wedding, others after — and that's completely up to you. Either way, we'd recommend being in Chiang Mai at least 2–3 days before the big day to settle in, shake off jet lag, and fall in love with the place.
If you're connecting through Bangkok, take a night or two to explore. Sukhumvit and Silom are great areas to base yourself. Eat everything, see a temple, find a rooftop bar — you won't regret it.
We'd love you to have a few days here before the wedding. Wander the Old City moat roads, discover a rooftop bar, visit a temple, try a cooking class. You'll see why this place is so special to us.
Bloomemories, Chiang Mai. We cannot wait to celebrate with you.
Please don't rush home. Whether you head to the islands, explore more of the north, or just stay in Chiang Mai for the elephant sanctuaries, cooking schools, and night markets — give yourself at least a few more days. Thailand rewards those who linger.
Dry season at its finest — 28–32°C, clear skies, low humidity. You'll be swapping a UK winter for warm golden days. Pack light, breathable clothing and a light layer for cool evenings.
Thailand is UTC+7 — that's 7 hours ahead of the UK in February (GMT). A good excuse to be an early riser and catch those golden mornings.
UK passport holders currently receive 30 days visa-free entry into Thailand — no advance application needed for a holiday. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
Thai Baht (THB). ATMs are everywhere and cards are widely accepted at hotels and restaurants. Carry some cash for markets, street food, and tuk-tuks.
Grab (Thailand's Uber) works brilliantly. Red songthaews are fun and cheap for short hops. We'll be arranging shuttles from Chiang Mai to the venue on the wedding day.
Pick up a Thai SIM at the airport (AIS or TrueMove) for around £8 — unlimited data for a week. WiFi is excellent at most hotels and cafés throughout the city.
Where the wedding is. A quieter, artisan district just south of the city — home to Baan Tawai woodcarving village, local cafes, and wide open space. Staying here means you're minutes from Bloomemories on the day. Less tourist-facing, more local charm.
Inside the ancient moat walls. Temples on every corner, the famous Sunday Walking Street market, rooftop bars, and everything within walking distance. The best area for first-time visitors who want to be in the heart of it all.
Twenty minutes north of the city, in the foothills. Rice paddies, jungle, and some of Thailand's finest luxury resorts. If you want to feel completely removed from the world and surrounded by nature, this is where to be. Worth the splurge.
If you're travelling with a crew, renting a whole villa together makes a lot of sense — more space, more fun, and often much better value per person. Here are two great options that can accommodate larger groups.
Bloomemories is in Hang Dong, just south of the city centre. All recommended areas are within 10–40 minutes by car.

Questions?
We love your loved ones! Due to venue capacity, please only bring a guest if your invitation indicates a plus one. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out to us directly.
There's no formal dress code — the theme is Naturally You. Wear what makes you feel most like yourself. A few gentle nudges: February in Chiang Mai is warm and dry, so light, breathable fabrics (linen, cotton, silk, chiffon) will love you back. The ceremony is outdoors on grass, so wedge heels, block heels, or flats will be your friend. Warm tones and earthy hues suit the golden-hour light beautifully — we're keeping black and white for ourselves.
The ceremony will be held outdoors in the gardens, and the reception will transition between covered and open-air spaces. February weather in Chiang Mai is typically warm and dry — expect a beautiful evening under the stars.
We will arrange shuttle service from select hotels in the city center to the venue and back. Details will be shared closer to the date. Alternatively, Grab is affordable and reliable.
While we love your little ones, our celebration is an adults-only event. We hope this gives you a great excuse for a date night (or an entire vacation!) in Thailand.
Please RSVP by December 1, 2026 so we can finalize all the arrangements. You can use the RSVP form above — it only takes a minute!
